Do you think I could make these without knowing half of what this lady is talking about?
I think… MAYBE… I could. Maybe.

… that’s a big MAYBE but I want to try.

We’re making another kind of owl here this morning. Éowyn actually did paint one of them and it turned out really nicely. She’s pretty impossible when it comes to craft things for kids, but she’s interested and that is a start. I’m pretty sure she’ll like the finished product when it’s finally done, and I’ll post pictures when they’re finished.

Here are our owls:

She painted the red and yellow one. I did the rest. She’s not into the whole craft thing and I’ll be honest? Anything more than paint is too much of a headache for me most days. It’s REALLY fucking messy with her and I’m totally paranoid that she’s going to eat the small bits. Seeing as how she acts like water is lava when I was her hair, I’m not too keen on glue either :-/ But she liked painting this stuff and she’ll be happy to see these when she gets up from her nap. I can’t wait till she’s into crafting a bit more 🙂 Till then I’ll limit what she plays with and how often she plays with it, and she’ll just have to let me have fun. Aren’t these just way too freaking cute? I could even use these as decorations. Love the idea, and the site they came from.

I think I’ll do this project next – I think she’ll like it a bit more, and the end result is pretty much all what SHE put down. It’d be nice to have some snow flakes in my windows 🙂
