My lovey girl is talking more and more – it seems like she is learning a new word everyday! She really surprises us sometimes – she’ll just pop out with a perfect word, or a recognizable sentence like “There it is!” “Oh no, what I do?” “Silly silly Kitty!” – and it’s so so cool to feel like you’re having a conversation with her. Oh man, it’s so fun now that she’s starting to talk!
We’re all getting over colds – well. Hopefully Stephen is getting over one, but he might just be starting one which *sucks*. But either way we’re heading to Kamloops tomorrow. Stephen is going to get his eyes dilated to finish up his eye exam – the doctor didn’t do that to him last time because he knew we were from out of town and Stephen was driving. So he’ll have that done and we’ll all just cruise around, go to the park, get some icecream, and wait for his eyes to go back to normal. We don’t have much to do in the city this week so we’ll probably go and check out Toys’R’Us or Superstore or Walmart or something for a…
FOR A BIKE! FOR THE BABY!
I’m way more excited about this than I *ever* thought I would be before having a kid, baha. She wanted to go visit the landlord’s place yesterday so we walked down and met Doug and Monica both and right away Éowyn saw a trike belonging to their 4 year old son. WELL. She didn’t want to leave after that, and I had had to run her down every time we went outside afterwards because she was just off like a shot down the road – she KNEW that trike was waiting for her.
I THINK SHE IS READY. 🙂 We don’t have sidwalks up here, but the traffic is so light nad people are sooooo good about safety and children in this town. That took me a long time to get used to! We’re going to try and find something for her that fits her now, and will also grow with her, and. You know. Doesn’t cost a fortune.
And oh, a little helmet!
I love having a kiddo around, it’s just… the best.
