I have been digging for an hour. and. a. half. and I am MAYBE half way done emptying that box of all the spider egg sacs, dead wasps, BROKEN GLASS, garbage, and ROCKS WHY ARE THERE SO MANY ROCKS EVERYWHERE? This is not landscaping! THIS IS TERRIBLE AND UGLY AND UNWORKABLE AND DIRTY.

God in heaven, I can’t handle spiders. Anything that attracts them would be gone from my place in a HEARTBEAT. Hope you clear it up soon!
Dude, I’m paranoid about the spiders here. We don’t leave É unattended but she’s always grubbing around looking for pretty rocks and there are black widows here. I really *really* do not like having bushy plants right by an entrance way no matter how decorative they are (and this bush was not). I dunno what I’m gonna do with this space when i get it cleaned out… probably nothing this year. But maybe I could put an inukshuk there and some little herb pots all around it. I think it would be nice to sort of pave it, but we’ll see what we have time and money for 🙂
I felt like someone was going to come along and give me shit for butchering a perfectly good tree! The whole time I was doing this I thought the neighbors would say something. Then it’s like… DOY I’m in my own house. WHAT A FEELING!
